About Varsity America

What is VarsityAmerica?

VarsityAmerica is a professional website, developed by longtime industry professionals, designed to showcase your high school in several different ways. Any high school that signs on as a VarsityAmerica partner will be given the tools to earn revenue, while showcasing their individual sports teams via live and archived broadcasting, via mobile apps (such as cell phones and tablets), a dedicated web site page featuring your school’s sports network, photo galleries, a platform for recruiting videos, and school bloggers to write about their teams. Each high school page will also have the capability to have the latest sports articles posted from their local newspapers. We are also developing an area which will allow your school to create your own online sports store, where you can sell directly from your bookstore while keeping more of the online profits. All of these tools will make YOUR sports network a true home for your teams -- a one-stop shop if you will.

The benefit for member high schools

Parents, family, friends, alumni and the student-athletes themselves enjoy the ability to view these games at their convenience, and now, with the development of mobile apps, games can be viewed from anywhere in the world. Imagine alumni and parents staying connected with what’s happening at your school with the click of a button!

Through the continued improvement of technology, VarsityAmerica will give you the tools your school needs to create an amazing revenue stream, while highlighting your student-athletes. If you don’t already have one, we will guide you through the creation of a Video Club, which will allow your interested students to have "hands-on experience" in the world of online television as camera operators, producers and even play-by-play announcers. This is another benefit of teaming up with Varsity America.

Here’s how it works

VarsityAmerica will create and host a professional-looking web page and mobile apps that will be the home for your school’s live and archived content on VarsityAmerica.com.

1. If you do not have a television department or club, VarsityAmerica will initially provide all the tools needed to create your school’s “high school sports network” -- video camera, microphone and tripod.

2. Local ad sales revenue sold by the school/booster clubs will be split with VarsityAmerica.

4. Ideally, your school will provide a parent or teacher who will oversee the Video Club and be the contact person for VarsityAmerica.

4. Please know that VarsityAmerica will always be a safe and secure web site for your video hosting and that only those with secure passwords, such as the school administrator or parent will have access to upload any content and update advertising banners.

5/ All local ads will be sold by the high school representatives. The school administration will decide which advertisers are appropriate to solicit.
